Heavy blaster pistols were a class of blaster pistol which were in use during the reign of the Galactic Empire. The Aqualish weapon designer Amda Wabo carried a heavy blaster pistol.[2] Another example of a famous wielder was the smuggler and war hero Han Solo.[1] Some owners carried several heavy blaster pistols like Tobias Beckett carried one DL-44 heavy blaster pistol, one RSKF-44 heavy blaster, and one DG-29 heavy blaster pistol.[3] Beckett gave his DL-44 to Han Solo during their attempted heist on Vandor, and Solo carried the weapon until his death over 30 years later.[4]
