Hedge Mitchels was a male member of the Trade Spine League, an organization of smugglers and freelance mercenaries that operated in the Anoat sector of the Outer Rim Territories.[1] At some point between 4 and 5 ABY,[2] during the blockade of the sector by the Galactic Empire, Mitchels discovered a mysterious crystal artifact amongst his cargo, and he intended to donate it to a museum.[1]
However, a young smuggler affiliated with the League went to examine the artifact and convinced Mitchels that his discovery would be more useful to the organization than to a museum.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Hedge Mitchels was first mentioned in "Crystal Artifact," a Crew Run mission available in the 2015 mobile game Star Wars: Uprising, written by Alexander Freed and Lori Hyrup.[1] In real-life, the English adventurer Mitchell-Hedges purportedly discovered a crystal skull in Belize some time in the 1920s.[3]
