A Helicyclic Gear, was a component that was used in the A-7 steering system for speeder bikes.[1]
In 3 ABY,[2] the Pyke merchant Jora Margal sold direct-energy circuits for 225 credits while in Mirogana the capital city of the moon Toshara. The rogue Quarren merchant Shuma also sold them from her Sienar-Chall Utilipede Transport. During the same year, a Jawa named Nizuma Chith was willing to trade helicyclic gears in exchange for quadranium.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Helicyclic gears first appeared in the 2024 Massive Entertainment video game Star Wars Outlaws that was published by Ubisoft. In the game it was used to upgrade of the player's speeder bike turn angle and responsiveness.[1]
