- "I can't see a thing in this helmet."
- ―Luke Skywalker
A helmet was a component of armor worn on an individual's head. The Mandalorian super commandos sometimes decorated their helmets with horns.[2] Clone troopers wore helmets as part of their armor, and occasionally referred to them as sun bonnets.[3] Members of the 104th Battalion,[4] led by the Jedi General Plo Koon,[5] painted stylized wolf muzzles painted on their helmets.[4]
Wookiee helmets contained a crest of an ancient sun symbol, and Wookiee hair could be threaded through its perforated flange.[6]
Helmets were standard equipment in grav-ball and often got dirty.[7]
