- "I can't see a thing in this helmet."
- ―Luke Skywalker
A helmet or helm was a type of protective headgear. The Helm of Ieldis was an example of a helmet,[1] as were the clone trooper learning helmets.[2] The swoop racer Blizz Pinnix's true appearance or gender was unknown by the general public due to the racer never appearing without wearing a helmet.[3] While primarily used to protect the head, ancient Mandalorian soldiers cooked uj'alayi in their helmets.[4]
