"Hero of Cartao" was a serialized short story written by Timothy Zahn and illustrated by Douglas Chaffee that appeared in Star Wars Insider magazine. It was separated into three parts: "Hero's Call" (Issue 68), "Hero's Rise" (Issue 69), and "Hero's End" (Issue 70). It featured such characters as Jafer Torles and the pre-existing Zahn character of Kinman Doriana. It took place in 22 BBY[2][3] and was essentially the story of how the Spaarti cloning cylinders came to Wayland.
