Hesperidium was one of the four moons of the galactic capital planet of Coruscant,[2] located in the Core Worlds' Coruscant system.[1] It was situated within the Coruscant subsector of the Corusca sector,[1] located at the coordinates L-9[3] on the Standard Galactic Grid.[4] It shared its name with Hesperidium straight, a section of the Dragonfire Circuit airspeeder race course on Coruscant.[5]

In the new Star Wars canon, Hesperidium was mentioned in the twenty-sixth issue of the magazine Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon, released in 2015.[2] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, Hesperidium first appeared in the 1997 novel Planet of Twilight, written by Barbara Hambly.[6]
