Hfredium was a mineral used in the construction of starships. It was combined with chanlon to make a deep red alloy known as havod. It was mined on Brosi, Nkllon, Ongary IX, and Shiffrin, among other planets, as well as the Tava Yagen and Pembric asteroid fields. The price of Hfredium during the Galactic Civil War averaged 110 credits per kilogram. Hfredium was among the minerals captured from Nomad City in Thrawn's raid on Nkllon.
