Hideo Itoyanagi is a Japanese filmmaker. He is the creator of the non-canon animated short series Star Wars Roll Out, which aired on StarWarsKids.com and YouTube. Itoyanagi previously created an unofficial animated short film adaption of Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens in the style and was approached about the creating the series by Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy in December 2017.[1]
