- "She's murder on holocubes, that's for sure-not that we've got anything worth putting on one."
- ―Han Solo referring to Viqi Shesh
The holocube was a hand-sized, six-sided object designed to hold three-dimensional holo images. By moving around the cube, a person could see all aspects of a displayed image. Holocubes also partially acted as deeds to planets, such as Han Solo's deed to Dathomir.

An undercover Leia views a holocube of her father as a little boy.
Souvenir holocubes, displaying images of tourist attractions were often sold to visitors such as on the planet Shownar.[2] Entertainment holocubes were also available; during a mission to monitor Imperial communications on Iyuta, Green squad were issued with extra entertainment holocubes.[3]
Leia Organa Solo and Han Solo encountered one on Tatooine that depicted Leia's father Anakin Skywalker after he had won the Boonta Eve Classic.[4]
