Hound was an Advanced Recon Force Scout Trooper sergeant who served in the Coruscant Guard of the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. During the hunt for the fugitive Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano, Hound utilized his tracking massiff Grizzer in order to track her by scent. He wore ARF trooper armor that had red markings.^[2]

Biography[]

Hound was one of the millions of clone troopers created on the aquatic planet of Kamino for the Grand Army of the Republic, being trained for years as an Advanced Recon Force trooper. Hound, however, was specifically trained to be a massif handler.^[2]

During the Clone Wars, Hound was part of the Coruscant Guard and was stationed on the capital. He utilized a massiff named Grizzer, to search the outside of a Republic military base for Ahsoka Tano, a Jedi on the run for being framed in a murder she did not commit. When Grizzer caught Tano's scent, the massiff brought Hound to the spot where Tano had been hiding but seeing nothing, he went on with Grizzer to search the area. Hound would later take part in the chase after Tano and nearly corner the fugitive Jedi.^[2]

Personality and traits[]

Hound was a human male clone^[2] of Jango Fett, who was 1.83 meters tall.^[1] He was trained to utilize a tracking massiff named Grizzer.^[2]

Equipment[]

Hound sported ARF trooper armor that was painted red, the color of the Coruscant Guard clone shock troopers, with the picture of a Massiff on his left shoulder pad. He wore a kama with holsters for DC-17 blaster pistol. Hound was also known to occasionally carry a DC-15s blaster.^[2]
