House Bonteri[7] was an influential human family[1] from the planet of Onderon.[2] In the last years of the Galactic Republic, Mina Bonteri represented her homeworld in the Senate of the Galactic Republic. By the time of the Clone Wars, however, the senator had joined the Confederacy of Independent Systems and sat in the Separatist Parliament.[1] After Bonteri was killed, her son Lux took her place in the Confederacy.[8]
During her pregnancy, Republic Senator Padmé Amidala sometimes wore a green velvet dress displaying patterns of the House Bonteri.[7]
