A hover taxi was a small,[4] automated transport[1] that could carry at least three passengers.[2] They were used in Mandalore's capital city of Sundari,[5] where they were known as Mandalorian transports.[7] The transports were also used in the Coruscant Underworld,[8] where they were known as Coruscant underworld taxis.[7] On Onderon, modified hover taxis were used by hunters as dalgo-drawn carts.[3]

Behind the scenes[]

The hover taxi first appeared in "The Mandalore Plot,"[5] a 2010 episode of the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars' second season.[9] It was first identified in StarWars.com's episode guide for "Lethal Trackdown,"[4] another 2010 episode of The Clone Wars' second season.[9]
