A hover taxi was a simple public repulsorlift sled used to travel short distances. Used by the New Mandalorians during the Clone Wars, Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi used one of these on his way to Duchess Satine Kryze's palace. When searching for links on Jango Fett in Coruscant, Plo Koon and Ahsoka Tano used a hover taxi to visit bars.
