"Tahiri, Anakin—give me a name. A credible name."
Corran Horn, to Tahiri Veila and Anakin Solo[src]

Hul Lah was an alias taken by Corran Horn when he posed as the commander of the Yuuzhan Vong spy ship Stalking Moon prior to the Battle of Yag'Dhul.

"We will verify this, of course, but you may rest assured that if you are telling the truth, the glorious Yuuzhan Vong will honor our agreement with you."
―Corran Horn, posing as "Hul Lah"[src]

After Horn, Anakin Solo and Tahiri Veila captured the Stalking Moon, it decanted from hyperspace close to the planet Yag'Dhul. Solo assembled a transmitter from the trio's survival gear and eventually managed to contact one of the Givin. However, it turned out that the Givin was one of a number of collaborators with the Yuuzhan Vong. Thinking quickly, Horn asked Solo and Veila to give him a credible Yuuzhan Vong name and Solo told him to use the name "Hul," which was a warrior's name.

Horn responded to the Givin collaborator's hail and identified himself as "Commander Hul Lah." During the course of the conversation, Horn drew upon his experience with Shedao Shai to inform his imitation of Yuuzhan Vong vocal mannerisms and learned that the collaborators had sabotaged Yag'Dhul's defenses and long-range communications in order to tip the balance in the Yuuzhan Vong's favor in the upcoming battle. Horn ended the conversation with his subterfuge undetected largely due to the fact that he refused to allow himself to be seen and eventually managed to pass on the information to the proper Givin authorities.
