Hunter droids were created for the non-canon LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures series, were the main antagonist of the second season, M-OC, is considered a hunter droid.^[2] Hunter droids would later be introduced to the canon continuity in the 2018 reference book Star Wars: Droidography, written by Marc Sumerak.^[1]
