Hy Izlan was an icy^[1] tundra^[2] planet situated in the Outer Rim Territories. In a time long after the fall of the Jedi Order, the planet was ruled by Margrave Juro, who sought to restore the Jedi with the help of the lightsabersmith Lah Zhima. Juro began mining for kyber crystals, using^[1] harpoon cannons^[2] on the planet's surface to collect crystals from asteroids in Hy Izlan's planetary ring. Juro summoned a group of Jedi without Masters to the Aerial Temple above Hy Izlan in order to equip them with lightsabers and rebuild the Jedi Order; however, acolytes of the Sith became aware of his plans, impersonating Jedi and answering the call in their place. With the help of Lah Zhima's Force-sensitive daughter, Kara, and the Jedi Ethan and Homen, Juro defeated the Sith, and the four set out on their quest.^[1]
