Hyor-ka was a business owner who held the title of Master during the Imperial Era. By the time of the rebellion on Akiva, the proprietor owned a dao-ben steamed bun shop that was located in the Outer Rim planet Akiva's capital city of Myrra, one alley away from the junk dealer Temmin Wexley's spare parts shop.[1] In 4 ABY,[2] Wexley hid under the tarp of Master Hyor-ka's dao-ben steamed bun shop while spying on thugs working for the crime lord Surat Nuat.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

Hyor-ka was first mentioned in Aftermath, a 2015 novel written by Chuck Wendig.[1]

Notes and references[edit | edit source]

  1. 1.0 1.1 1.2 Aftermath
  2. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary dates the reunion of Norra Wexley and Temmin Wexley on Akiva—which occurs during the rebellion on Akiva, according to Aftermath—to thirty years before the Hosnian Cataclysm, which Star Wars: Galactic Atlas places in 34 ABY. The mention of Hyor-ka takes place during Akiva's rebellion, and can therefore be placed in 4 ABY.
