The Hyper-Communications Cartel was an Andoan organization led by the Aqualish Po Nudo. During the Separatist Crisis, it defected from the Galactic Republic along with Nudo and joined the Confederacy of Independent Systems. During the Clone Wars, it oversaw the Separatist's secure communications and signals intelligence operations, including Skytop Station. The cartel also was responsible for running the Shadowfeed, a sliced HoloNet channel that broadcast Separatist propaganda.^[1]

The Hyper-Communications Cartel was first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in Rise of the Separatists, a 2019 supplement to Fantasy Flight Games' series of Star Wars roleplaying products.^[1] It was originally created for the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in the 2005 reference book Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith: The Visual Dictionary, which was written by James Luceno.^[2]
