- "Those sleep-imprinting sessions on the journey here seem to have worked...! I've enough information about Metalorn to keep one step ahead of pursuit."
- ―Leia Organa
Hypno-imprinting, also called hypno-indoctrination[2] and sleep-imprinting,[1] was the use of hypnosis to implant orders, post-hypnotic commands,[2] or to impart tactical information en route to a mission.[1]
Hypno-imprinting was also used to brainwash Alliance prisoners while they were incarcerated by the Galactic Empire. The prisoners were then released and the hypno-imprinting forced the prisoners to spy on the Alliance without the Rebels knowing what they were doing.[2]
