IG-11 was a masculine IG-series droid who worked as a bounty hunter around 9 ABY.[4] He was often mistaken for IG-88, a famous bounty hunter droid.[5]

IG-11 was a character created for the upcoming live-action television series, The Mandalorian. A picture of IG-11 was revealed on Jon Favreau's instagram on December 25, 2018.[6] The character is voiced by Taika Waititi.[5]
