ILMxLAB is Lucasfilm Ltd.'s immersive entertainment studio. Founded in 2015, the studio creates virtual and mixed reality experiences that invite fans to step inside the worlds of their favorite stories. ILMxLAB has created VR projects like Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire, Trials on Tatooine, the episodic VR experience Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series, and the mixed reality experiment Project Porg. The studio is currently working on Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge, scheduled for release in 2020.
