Imperial Depot was a supply depot used by the Galactic Empire on the Wookiee homeworld of Kashyyyk. The Depot had two prefab shelters and a mech factory inside the walled enclosure, and was located south of the city of Tunnatutikan. After the Battle of Endor, the site was guarded by two stormtroopers, and had four All Terrain Scout Transports and one Heavy All Terrain Armored Transport.[1]
During the course of the Liberation of Kashyyyk, it was raided by the Wookiee Chewbacca and his associate Han Solo, who were allied with the Wookiee forces. The two posed as inspectors to gain access to the depot. One of the stormtroopers asked for authorization, and Chewbacca provided their "authorization:" shots from his bowcaster. He then took control of the Imperial walkers and used them in the assault on the communication jammers in Chenachochan.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
The Imperial Depot appears in the 2001 video game Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds during the Chewbacca campaign. The player has the option of visiting the base to take control of the walkers and use them against the jammers, although the mission may be completed without doing so. This article assumes the player completed all secondary side-quests.[1] The campaign is also included in the game's 2002 expansion pack, Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds: Clone Campaigns.
