Imperial Refining Platform M36 was a Galactic Empire refinery located in an asteroid field in the Outer Rim Territories. It had no organic workers, but was protected by KX-series security droids. During the Galactic Civil War, a team of rebels, including Luke Skywalker, raided the refinery to steal its fuel supplies.[1]
