Imperial base (Vetine)

During the Galactic Civil War, the Galactic Empire operated a base on the planet Vetine, in the Merrick sector. The base contained a research lab accessible only to the Emperor, Darth Sidious, and the base's commander, Commandant Hurron; the lab was the location of the two remaining fragments of a Great Tree that Sidious had stolen from the Jedi Temple after declaring himself Emperor. After the Emperor's death, Luke Skywalker and Shara Bey infiltrated the base and recovered the tree fragments.^[1]
