The Imperial scan cruiser was a model of Imperial Gozanti-class cruiser[1] deployed by the Galactic Empire. In 4 BBY, one scan cruiser visited the agricultural world Mina-Rau to assist in performing the planetary audit.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
An Imperial scan cruiser appeared in the second season of the Disney+ live-action series Andor which was released on April 22, 2025.[2] It was identified as a "Imperial scan cruiser" in the article "Secrets from the Set of Andor Season 2: Week 1 Trivia" posted to StarWars.com. In the same article it was relieved that digital model for the cruiser was a modified version of the Gozanti-class cruiser that Industrial Light & Magic made for the second season of The Mandalorian.[1]
