- "I only know what my employer requires me to know. Particularly, about the war between the Gungans and Imperials."

The Imperial vs. Gungan Battle was an ongoing conflict between forces of the Galactic Empire and Gungans loyal to the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War.
The Battle[]
- "It is such a tragedy. The Gungans are so peaceful, so cute and kind. Well, Jar Jar--I met him once. He's a bit annoying. Anyway! You can find the site of their most recent battle at the location I downloaded in your datapad."
- ―Vaik'anna Silverlight, to a spacer
The battle took place at a Gungan monument on the Mid Rim world of Naboo sometime after the Battle of Yavin. The battle involved at least one All Terrain Armored Transport, several stormtroopers, and many wetland assault stormtroopers against a horde of plainclothes Gungans loyal to the Rebel Alliance. By at least 0 ABY, the Gungans had succeeded in destroying the AT-AT and killing all the white armored stormtroopers, but fighting continued to persist between them and the many remaining swamptroopers.[15] An individual by the name of Montrus was situated close to the battle, at the base of the Gungan monument.[17] The Naboo noble Roric V`lia and his employee Vaik'anna Silverlight had activities related to the battle.[16]

- ↑ According to its opening crawl, Star Wars Galaxies was set sometime after Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. The only precise time indication in the game was given by the character Ruwan Tokai, who referenced the destruction of the Death Star at the Battle of Yavin as occurring one year earlier, placing the game sometime around 1 ABY. Later, multiple elements confirmed the placement of the game storyline in 1 ABY. First, The Essential Reader's Companion established that the tie-in novel Star Wars Galaxies: The Ruins of Dantooine took place in 1 ABY. Furthermore, the game expansion Star Wars Galaxies: Rage of the Wookiees was set during the Blockade of Kashyyyk, one year after the Battle of Yavin according to The Star Wars Holiday Special. Additionally, the main scenario of The Nightsister's Revenge from the Star Wars Galaxies Trading Card Game was set over a year before the Battle of Hoth (3 ABY), so around 1.5 ABY. Finally, the reference book Strongholds of Resistance placed the events of Star Wars Galaxies's Chapter 9: "The Fury of Exar Kun" one year after the Battle of Yavin. Of note, Galaxies's Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" introduced the Battle of Hoth in the game. However, the developers were quite clear that this was only intended to be a completely isolated "Star Wars Moment" without any effect on continuity for the rest of the game.
