In 1 BBY,[3] Kleya Marki infiltrated Lina Soh Hospital after Luthen Rael was brought in following a suicide attempt with a Nautolan bleeder. Rael was placed on life support and Imperial Security Bureau Supervisor Dedra Meero took control of the floor for the ISB. Marki entered the hospital disguised as a staff and planted explosives on several Imperial vehicles. After setting off the explosives, Marki went to Rael's room, where he was kept alive by a life support machine. Marki disconnected Rael from it. With tears coming down her face, Marki gave her adoptive father a kiss on the forehead as Rael breathed his last and then left the hospital.[1]
Later, Supervisor Heert arrived to investigate the aftermath of Kleya Marki's attack on the hospital. Attendant Joydali reported that two ISB drivers were killed and one missing. Several ISB tactical agents and stormtroopers were also killed. Joydali believed three people were behind the attack based on the attack and lack of witnesses.[2]
