The Inner Council was the chief executive body of the New Republic. Composed of members of the Provisional Council, they composed of the Chief of State's closest advisors. The Inner Council was abolished when the Provisonal Council dissolved itself in 7 ABY, but most of its duties were assumed by the Ruling Council.
