During the reign of the Galactic Empire, an insurrection took place on the Inner Rim planet Bestine IV between insurgents backed by the Crimson Dawn criminal syndicate and the Empire.[1] Between 3 ABY and 4 ABY,[2] Crimson Dawn hired the crew of the bounty hunter T'onga to intercept an Imperial transport with enough munitions to crush the insurrection that was headed for an Imperial naval base on Jahnae. At the same time, and unbeknownst to him, Imperial Lieutenant Beilert Valance was leading a mission against his former friend to prevent the very same transport from being intercepted.[1]
