The Intellectual Property Development Group (IPDG), also called the "brain trust," was an informal group at Lucasfilm that was established by Kiri Hart in 2014 to develop ideas for the movies that became Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi and Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker.[1] As of 2024, the IPDG has not existed for "years," according to Pablo Hidalgo.[2]
