Plot summary[]

Uncovering the plot[]

C-3PO and R2-D2 were walking the hallways of actress Risha Synata's ship. R2 believed that Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala were in trouble and rolled ahead to go investigate. 3PO did not believe that they were in trouble as he caught up to R2.

On the bridge of Synata's ship, Anakin and Padmé both realized that they were in a lot of trouble. A prerecorded hologram message of Count Dooku to Risha Syanata played. In the message, Dooku thanked Risha for helping take down Senator Amidala. While Anakin and Padmé were pondering what to an officer walked in eating a sandwich. Anakin quickly tied the officer to a chair and gagged his mouth. Going through a computer, Padmé learned that Synata had been changing the history in her plays in order to push the Confederacy of Independent Systems agenda. She also had a list of names of senators who she could not convince to join the CIS. She planned to invite them to a show that night and release deadly dioxis gas.

Anakin and Padmé quickly ran out to stop her but crashed into each other when trying to hid from a droid. The droid realized who it was and started to glow red eyes as it made its was toward them. Realizing what was going on, an officer ordered that all the droids be put into combat mode.

Meanwhile, R2-D2 was busy trying to take control of the service droids sent to attack Anakin and Padmé. C-3PO was still unconvinced that there was any threat to Anakin and Padmé but was shocked to learn that R2 was trying to gain control of the droids.

The duel[]

Anakin and Padmé fought off the droids but as they started to get overwhelmed, R2-D2 managed to get control of some of the droids and stop them from fighting. This freightened the officers who knew that Risha Synata would not like this. They informed the actress who was mad at first but then sarcastically wished that Anakin could join her for her show.

R2-D2 gained control of the rest of the droids although it was a struggle. Anakin and Padmé ran off to locate Risha. When they reached the theater Padmé ordered Anakin to confront Synata while she evacuated the attendees. Anakin went backstage and confronted an actor who gave Anakin his mask. On the stage, Synata looked on in disgust at Padmé as she evacuated the audience. Anakin then confronted her and told her to turn herself in. The actress refused and ignited her red lightsaber. The dioxis gas dispersed and Anakin quickly put on his black mask and ignited his lightsaber. Synata made a quick dash at Anakin but he evaded her attack. Anakin dodged more of her attacks and quickly disarmed her.

Reporting back[]

Back at the Jedi Temple, Anakin and Padmé finished up their report to the Jedi High Council. Jedi Master Mace Windu had come to the realization that the lesson of learning history was important on the mission because their enemies were trying to distort it. Grand Master Yoda then asked them where Risha Synata was now.

At the Republic Judiciary Central Detention Center, Synata was getting her photo taken in her prisoner suit. Trying to get a good photo she asked for makeup to be but on her. The photographer ignored her request and told her to turn to the left. But this agreed Risha Synata who didn't want to photograph her bad side.
