The Ipellrilla system was a star system that was located within the Glythe sector, part of the Mid Rim[1] and New Territories regions of the galaxy.[2] A hyperlane connected the system to the worlds Fornax and Nentan. The Ipellrilla system fell within the borders of the New Republic in 12 ABY.[3] The system was the origin point of the Ipellrilla firewater beverage.[4][5]
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
The Ipellrilla system was first mentioned in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, written by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace, which placed the system in grid square K-7.[2]

Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for the Ipellrilla firewater in relation to the Ipellrilla system.
