The Ithica system was located in the Inner Rim.[1] It was the origin point of the items known as Ithica boxes.[2][3]
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
The Ithica system was introduced in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square K-14.[4]

Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for Ithica boxes in relation to the Ithica system.
