The Ivax Syndicate was a secretive criminal enterprise, led by Voras the Hutt, that originated in the Ivax Nebula, its namesake, and operated within the Anoat sector. Though publicly known to take part in underground gambling, racing, and blood sports, its true power lay in its extensive influence throughout the entire Anoat sector.[1] They were believed to be a feeder network for the Red Key Raiders.[2]
Once Lando Calrissian liberated Cloud City and reclaimed his title as Baron Administrator, the Ivax scattered away from Cloud City, freed from the blockade that kept them in the Anoat sector. Calrissian didn't pursue, reasoning that he'd deal with them should they ever resurface in Cloud City.[3]
