J.D. Dillard is an American screenwriter and director who portrays FN-1226 in the 2019 film Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker. He is known for directing and co-writing the 2016 superhero film Sleight[4] and the 2019 horror film Sweetheart.[5]
