J0-N0 was an 8D-series smelter droid who worked for Cad Bane during the Clone Wars. He attempted to acquire the plans for the Republic Senate Building from C-3PO, Senator Padmé Amidala's protocol droid.[3]
Behind the scenes[]
J0-N0 first appeared in "Evil Plans," the eighth episode of the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars's third season,[3] which aired on November 5, 2010.[4] The torture droid was designed after the smelting droid 8D8 seen in the film Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi.[5]
