JAK Racing was the manufacturer of the J930 Dash-8 Podracer engine. The engines were known for their excellent traction, which made the engines useful for racing on all kinds of terrain. The Triffian Ebe E. Endocott used a JAK Racing Podracer during the race event known as the Boonta Eve Classic that was set in the year 32 BBY. The Devlikk Podracer pilot Raido also utilized Dash-8 engines during 22 BBY while racing on the planet of Mon Gazza.
