The JR-4 swoop was a model of swoop that was active around the time of the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and Confederacy of Independent Systems. The CK-6 swoop bike, manufactured by Bespin Motors and utilized by the Republic's Grand Army, was essentially a militarized version of the JR-4 swoop.[1]

The JR-4 swoop was first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in Rise of the Separatists, a 2019 supplement to Fantasy Flight Games' series of Star Wars Roleplaying products.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the JR-4 swoop was introduced in the Arms & Equipment Guide, a 2002 supplement to Wizards of the Coast' Star Wars Roleplaying Game.[2]
