"You wanted to free your fellow Wookiees—well, now you can join them mining ore on Jabiim."
―A First Order stormtrooper commander, to the Wookiee Chewbacca[src]

Jabiim was a terrestrial astronomical object[2] in the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories. Connected to Sy Myrth and Taskeed by hyperspace routes, it was positioned at the coordinates S-7[1] on the Standard Galactic Grid.[3] During the war between the First Order and the Resistance, it fell under the control of the First Order, who sent slaves to mine ore on Jabiim.[2]

Behind the scenesEdit

Jabiim was first shown in the new Star Wars canon on a map in the Star Wars: The Force Awakens Beginner Game, published by Fantasy Flight Games in 2016.[1]

In the Star Wars Legends continuity, Jabiim first appeared in the comic Republic 55: The Battle of Jabiim, Part 1, written by W. Haden Blackman, penciled by Brian Ching, and published by Dark Horse Comics[4] on July 2, 2003.[5]
