Jackaby Snell was a Tarsunt individual who worked for the Arkorayal Cabaret Cantina, a Galactic Republic outpost located in Bri Phrang City on the planet Eriadu. By 229 BBY, Jackaby was responsible for programming memorial holograms of individuals who perished during the destruction of Starlight Beacon, including those of many Jedi.

Behind the scenes

Jackaby Snell first appeared in the first issue of the 2023 comic series Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures. The issue was written by Daniel José Older, illustrated by Harvey Tolibao and Nick Brokenshire, and published by Dark Horse Comics as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's Phase III on December 6, 2023. Prior to the release of the issue, he was first mentioned in a StarWars.com preview for the comic on December 5 of the same year.
