The Jadthu-class landing ship was a landing craft designed by Incom Corporation and developed by Republic Sienar Systems. Originally used to carry freight for the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars, the Jadthu-class landing ship was upgraded into orbital dropships for deployment of clone troopers. Upon the Galactic Republic's transformation into the Galactic Empire, the Jadthu-class was scrapped by the Imperial Navy, though some found their way into the hands of the Rebel Alliance, as well as mercenary and criminal organizations.[1]
