Janton Belos[2] was a male Force-sensitive individual who served the Sith Empire during the Golden Age of the Sith. Belos attained a position as a minor Sith Lord and took[1] the Near-Human[2] Valik Kodank as his consort. In an effort to keep her contented and romantically interested in him, he trained Kodank in the ways of the Sith. Kodank grew in power and concealed her new strength from Belos; without his knowledge, she took another Sith Lord as her lover and founded a sect of her own followers.[1]

Janton Belos[2] was first mentioned as an unnamed Sith Lord in Child of Light, a Star Wars Legends roleplaying adventure written by Lee Pickler and published by RPGA in 2000 as the opening instalment of the Child of Light saga.[1] He was subsequently mentioned in the third Child of Light saga adventure, Light and Dark, in 2002, which identified his name.[2] Neither adventure specifies Belos' species.[1][2]
