Jason Isaacs (born June 6, 1963) is an English actor. He voiced the Jedi hunter character known as the Grand Inquisitor in the first and second seasons of the animated series Star Wars Rebels, which debuted on Disney XD in fall 2014.[1] In 2015, for his performance as the Grand Inquisitor, he won a Behind the Voice Actors Award for Best Male Vocal Performance in a Television Series in a Supporting Role - Action/Drama.

Isaacs' likeness was previously used to depict artwork of Tyber Zann.[2]

He also portrayed Colonel William Tavington in The Patriot, Captain Michael D. Steele in Black Hawk Down and Captain Gabriel Lorca in Star Trek: Discovery.
