The Javarica system was a star system that was located in the Tynquay sector of the Outer Rim Territories[1] and the Trans-Hydian regions.[2] The system was the origin point of the Javarican espresso.[3][4]

Behind the scenes

The Javarica system was established in the StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, which placed the system in grid square Q-4.[1]

The Essential Atlas depicts territory falling in that grid square as being located in either the New Territories region of the galaxy (spinward from the Hydian Way super-hyperroute) or the Trans-Hydian region (trailing from the Hydian Way). Since the Online Companion places the system within the Tynquay sector, which is located in the trailing direction from the Hydian Way, according to StarWars The Essential Atlas Extra: Outer Rim Sectors on StarWars.com (backup link), it therefore must also be part of the Trans-Hydian.
