«You speak terrible Jawa. You sound like a Wookiee.»
―A Jawa, to the Mandalorian[src]

Jawaese,[1] also referred to simply as Jawa,[3] was the original language of the Jawas, while Jawa Trade Talk was their dialect. Scent was an integral part of Jawaese so it was impossible for non-Jawas to learn.[1] The Bimm weapons smuggler Rycar Ryjerd spoke Jawaese.[2]

ExamplesEdit

Behind the scenesEdit

In the films, Jawaese was produced by speeding up words and phrases spoken in the Zulu language.[5]
