Publisher's summary[edit | edit source]

ONE AGAINST A WORLD. Jedi Knight ENO CORDOVA must risk his life to uncover the secrets of the Dark Temple on Ontotho…while the fearsome Ontothon army approaches! Can Padawan CERE JUNDA alone stop them from taking the temple for themselves? And who are the deadly TEMPLE GUARDIANS and what are they protecting?

Plot summary[edit | edit source]

The Jedi Knights, formerly guardians of the Republic, have been
destroyed by their ancient enemies—the Sith. Now, the new Imperial
regime has deployed ruthless Inquisitors to rid the Empire of any
remaining Jedi.

Years prior, the impulsive Jedi Cere Junda and her master Eno
Cordova journeyed to Ontotho to settle a dispute between the Daa
Corporation and the local Fylari regarding a mysterious temple
in Fylar. But a surprise attack on the Daa caravan took the life of
Cordova. The Fylar took Cere in and convinced her that Dylanto Daa
had framed them for the death of Cere's master.

After Daa attacked Fylar to gain access to their mysterious temple,
Cere broke into his headquarters to put a stop to hostilities. It was
there that she found her master alive and under Daa's care.

Cordova believes the cause of the current conflict is not as simple
as Cere thinks and brokered a cease-fire to buy time for the Jedi to
explore the temple themselves.

  2. Jedi Master Poli Dapatian, who is present on the Jedi High Council in Jedi Fallen Order - Dark Temple 1, retires from his position in Master & Apprentice, meaning that the comic must take place before the novel. Master & Apprentice gives the age of Obi-Wan Kenobi as seventeen years old, while ToppsDigitalLogo.pngStar Wars: Card Trader (Card: Obi-Wan Kenobi - Padawan - Base Series 1) establishes that Kenobi was born fifty-seven years before the Battle of Yavin. Star Wars: Galactic Atlas dates the Yavin battle to 0 BBY, thereby placing Kenobi's birth in 57 BBY and the events of Master & Apprentice around 40 BBY. Therefore Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order - Dark Temple takes place some time prior.
