Publisher's summary[]

Captured by Krayn, a ruthless pirate and slave trader, Anakin Skywalker is bound into servitude and thrust into the dangerous spice factories of Nar Shaddaa. Obi-Wan Kenobi prepares to infiltrate Krayn's operations to rescue his beloved Padawan. Anakin, without his lightsaber, must again fight for freedom and help his fellow slaves. Bridging the events between Episode I and II, this series continues to expand on the young boy who will one day grow to be Dark Lord of the Sith!
