Behind the scenes[]
"Jedi Rocks" was written by Jerry Hey.
"Jedi Rocks" replaced "Lapti Nek" for the Special Edition release of Return of the Jedi.
The full song is never shown in Return of the Jedi. It is instead interrupted when Jabba feeds the dancer Oola to his pet rancor.
The song can be heard in Star Wars: Battlefront II in Assault Mode.
It can also be heard in Jabba's Palace in LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars.
In the OST version, during the vocal part, the guitar is more audible, and the electric piano is also audible in it, but not audible in the film.
