Jedi healers were healers within the Jedi Order.[1] Healers frequently possessed the ability of Force healing. Organizations such as the Circle of Jedi Healers and the Medical Corps counted Jedi healers among their ranks.[2]
According to the Qel-Droma Epics, a small temple in the Ossus City was staffed by a rotating cast of young Jedi healers who provided primary care to the sick and wounded. Surrounding the temple were small cottages that slept four: one healer and three patients.[3]
During the High Republic Era, Jedi Master and healer Torban Buck was stationed onboard the Padawan Academic Cruiser Star Hopper to teach the starship's class of Padawans first aid.[4]
In the final years of the Republic Era, Stass Allie was another notable Jedi healer.[2] Jedi injured in the First Battle of Geonosis were treated at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, with Jedi Master Depa Billaba later thanking Padawan Barriss Offee's special attention to the injured as the reason for their quick recovery. Offee tried to avoid the war for as long as possible, continuing to work as a healer at the Temple.[5] By 21 BBY,[6] Offee's internal turmoil prevented her ability to heal others, with the Jedi Temple medical bay becoming a place that caused her feeling of pain.[7]
